“I’ve just believed since I was very young that I could do this,”

Whether you like boxing or not you have to credit his belief in himself, his desire and to win and his expectation that he would win due to him visualising the win.

The former school teacher with desire belief and expectation made headlines on Sunday past.

Australia’s Jeff Horn stunned Filipino Manny Pacquiao in a bloody Brisbane battle to claim a unanimous 12-round decision and win the WBO world welterweight title in front of 50,000 fans at Lang Park on Sunday.

What is interesting about the result from a performance improvement  view is that he talks about visualising winning.

Like Mohamad Ali and his phrase Future History he played over and over in his mind the moment he won and the referee held his arm up.

Despite the negative comments he blocked them and kept replaying the positive visualisation the he programmed. Winning the WBO World Championship.

IT JUST WORKS!!!

His Linkedin profile summary just says

To become World Champion!

How’s that for belief in yourself and telling the world your goal.

A lesson for us all to never give up on our goals, to keep seeing them achieved by visualising them daily.
