Spring Clean your Mind this September

Do you remember helping to spring cleaning the house when we were younger?

Pulling out things we no longer used or have outgrown filling a black bin bag of stuff and handing them into the charity shop or putting them in the rubbish bin.
Remember how good it felt afterwards to have everything clean, in its place, smelling nice. Just for that day everything was as it should be and you felt good.

How about taking that spring cleaning concept and applying it to our minds,

our thinking, our attitudes and our beliefs?

What thinking, mindset or attitudes have we developed over the winter that no longer suit us or do not serve us well?

Take time out to reflect on your thinking, has it been positive and encouraging or something else?

What attitudes have we taken on from peers or colleagues that are holding us back from our full potential?

Think are these attitudes serving me well?

Are they helping me to be at my fullest potential?

Make time to have a mental clear out, DELETE all the thoughts that hold you back, the negative inner talk, the limiting belief’s we develop.

Its simple to do… Spring Clean your mind exercise

Get yourself comfy, sit up straight, close your eyes, relax yourself using our breathing process.

Once you have relaxed yourself, keep your eyes closed and go off into your imagination and visualise yourself throwing the negative thinking and limiting beliefs you have allowed to creep in over the winter into this big black bin bag.

After you have filled the bag imagine throwing it out into the refuse bin and tell yourself ” I refuse to allow that type of thinking back into my mindset”
Then remind yourself of your positive huge goals you want to achieve and re inspire yourself to achieve them by seeing them in your minds eye played out and achieved.

Enjoy this exercise and enjoy “seeing” your mind spring cleaned ready for a fantastic September and all the opportunities that will come along to enable you to achieve the goals you have set.

PLUS… The benefit of making time for this exercise is that we know that relaxation is a great antidote to stress, so as well as spring cleaning your thinking you are deeply relaxing and managing your stress levels too.
Its a win,win, win!
